Dearest Stigmata Family,

First and foremost — THANK YOU so much for rocking up yesterday and supporting us, Sri Lankan Rock/Metal, and the originality movement. 🤘🏽❤️

Yes, there were some technical issues, and our set being cut short by almost 45 minutes.

But we knew going in that it wouldn`t necessarily be smooth sailing.

We have consciously chosen to step outside our comfort zone — to perform at bigger, more diverse events, reach new audiences, and take our music beyond the spaces we traditionally inhabit. With that will naturally come certain obstacles.

As I often say:
`when you pray for rain, expect some mud.`

But there was certainly a LOT of good yesterday. In fact, far more good than bad.

Overall, it was a very well-organised show, @wills_jay_, Dexter, Ashan, Ru and @redeemerssl were hospitable and welcoming.

Thank you to @the_gypsies.lk for the shout out.

Chanul did a commendable job for a young lad behind the mixer, especially under challenging circumstances.

It was a terrific experience and we won over some new fans.

We also met more than a few people who were seeing us for the very first time — some genuinely surprised and impressed to discover that Sri Lanka has original Metal bands doing what we do.

That matters.

A massive thank you to @kaveesha.vio for joining us onstage once again with those mesmeric 🎻 chops.

We sold some merch too — many thanks to *Ahinsa* for helping us out yesterday.

A huge shout-out to @lady.sativa and @notorious_uzumaki_420 for everything from the make-up and styling.

@thisaradj , thank you for the amazing backdrop and visuals, and for your support during soundcheck.

@gaa_97_ , thank you for rocking up and helping us with photography.

@adithyaz_bb, for always having our backs and for the mad support.

@jcstave, for making sure we actually had our song lists printed and ready.

And the amazing @dinphilips for the mad love & support.

We gave our all to entertain everyone in that massive space, but ultimately performed for YOU guys 🔥🤘🏻
