12 Dec Desert Inferno XL | Dubai

Organised by Resurrection Metal Events Dubai — was one hell of an experience.
This tour was locked in months ago. Flights, visas, accommodation, logistics — once the wheels are in motion, they don’t always stop, even when tragedy strikes. Like many Sri Lankan artists, our commitments were set long before disaster hit home.
As Cyclone Ditwah and the monsoon battered Sri Lanka, our hearts never left the island.
What you didn’t see:
Storms battled just to rehearse.
Illness hitting band members and families.
Visa rejections. Sponsorship delays. Financial strain.
Long workdays, longer nights, rehearsing through chaos.
Airport delays, turbulent flights, shoddy accommodation, lukewarm hospitality, very little sleep.
Heavy hearts, constant worry for loved ones — some among us losing homes, others unable to reach family.
Tours aren’t glamorous. We carry burdens long before we step on stage.
In 25 years, Stigmata has never cancelled a show.
And we didn’t come to Dubai to outdo anyone.
We didn’t come to prove anything.
We came to play for Sri Lanka — like there was no tomorrow.

Deep gratitude to Resurrection Metal Events Dubai, the crew, our brothers behind the scenes — and especially our Stigz fam in Dubai who travelled across the UAE.
You are the true stars of the night.
Proud beyond words of my bandmates — relentless, resilient, unbreakable.

Rough fucking tour. Killer fucking gig ✊🏼
